Folliculitis on my neck, legs, and stomach

I've always had the folliculitis on my neck for years and years and years but all of a sudden this summer I started getting it on my stomach and legs even. I finally went to a demotologist (know its not spelled right) and was perscribed Solodyn 135mg once a day and Aldara cream for at night for 6 weeks just for my neck area due to such scarring I have. I'm a good 4 weeks in but the folliculitis doesn't seem to be getting any better at all espcially on my stomach and legs. Its hard to say what my neck looks like because the Aldara cream has my neck like one big scab but I still am getting hair after hair still incased in the bacteria/puss whatever it is even on my neck. The areas on my legs and stomach are so hard and just never seem to heal at all. I thought a month into my medication I would start to see something but so far nothing. Anyone have any suggestions or know what else I can try on my own before I go to the doctors again? I'll try to add some pics eventually if I don't many responses. Tweet
