Re: DIY ultraviolet blood purification?

I don't think you are quite understanding the situation. I am not discussing buying a device that is being sold as a blood purification device. I am talking about buying an LED in the 254 nm range (it would probably be sold as a water your vacation application) and then using that on my body to purify my blood.

The question is this -- would the light penetrate all the way into my bloodstream?

Second question is this -- as the light makes its way through my skin, would the wavelength change? After all, if the wavelength changes then it might no longer have bactericidal qualities

All this talk of the FDA, and testing, etc. is irrelevant to me because I am not selling anything nor am I making a claim about any product I or anyone else has

I don't have a product like this, nor am I familiar with anybody who does
