Re: O/T: Reading material (with EDIT apology)

Loss of freedom. Freedom to choose. Walk when I want to walk, run when I want to run, breathe fresh air and not hospital stench, drink when I want to drink, to eat when I want to eat, sleep when I want to sleep, take what supplements I know help me, the stigma, the stymie, the labeling, and most of all - the typical phychiquactric nonsense.

Keep in mind, L - there is a pretense here. An inaccurate one.

It is an unnatural approach/solution. I have great distain for the unnatural. I've been there before, when it was much actual anorexia nervosa, although at the time I had overcome the desire to lose weight, "Something" took over during that starvation period. Depletion of good bacteria, insurgence of the bad, Body ecology stuff gone haywire. I have been convinced since recovering that anyone with an eating disorder (particular of the starvation variety) has induced potentially permanent damage to the body on a chemical level.

This can be accomplished organically if circumstances were conducive. I'm certain of it. I've done it before on my own - can do it again. It was all a matter of circumstance.

But this time around, there was no dieting involved. Triggered by environmental illness/infection. WAY more complicated. And I can almost guarantee that "they" won't "get it".

Make sense?
