That is great news for you. I was so happy when I did the same thing. I transferred from an obgyn to midwives and a birthing center and felt great about it all. Of course babies have different ideas! I did not have the sweeping of the membranes today because my cervix isn't dilated, and as of tomorrow I won't be able to use the birthing center (they have a 6 day overdue cut off). I am really disappointed, but have to keep the focus on the health of the baby and not myself I suppose. If I haven't had this little fella by next week then I have to have an induction, all of which wasn't in my plan. Now I know that children don't always work with your plans! I guess it's my first lesson! When are you due? I hope your birthing center experience is wonderful when it happens. Tweet
