Re: sweeping the membranes

Just from my past experience with my son....I had my membranes swept last time and it was quite painful. I was already dilated two centimeters but all that it did for me personally is give me severe cramp like contractions. These contractions went on for days and I wasn't making any lead way with dilating. I thought the procedure hurt when she did it as well. Im sure Dr. Mom will have some good advice for you. Just wanted to share my experience with you! I heard it can work for some but it didn't work well for me. Tweet
