big difference between intravenous injections and intramuscular injections. insulin injections are injected just under the skin.

Intravenous injection requires that you actually injected directly into a blood vessel. Like when someone becomes dehydrated have to get and isotonic IV infusion.

there are risks involved and it must be done properly and correctly or you can damage and/or injury yourself.
