I find this really fascinating, but ultimately still confusing. I was googling this because I've recently been trying Simoncini's sodium bicarb protocol for Candida and whilst I thought it was helping, I've recently had 2 episodes in a month of food poisoning... coincidence or a sign that my digestive tract was too alkaline to support any remaining good bacteria perhaps?? After all I'd never had food poisoning before...
BUT how come Mg chloride spray (pH 7- neutral) got rid of my ringworm on my feet (if skin is supposed to be slightly acidic, why did a neutral/alkaline solution get rid of it?) and sodium bicarb cause die-off?
