Hi Maggie,
I HAVE been replying to your messages but something must be wrong with the system. I really do not recommend Dr. Stengler any longer. If you would read my posts mainly under the Parasite/Drugs forum, you will see what I have been through.

He bascially neglected to order the proper tests--ie he did not specifically request that I be tested for Blasto which I had before. So Genova failed to catch it. He then also UNDER treated me with the weakest possible treatment, 5 days of Flagyl.

When I realized that I needed more meds, and requested them, he blew me off. I had no other choice but to get more from Mexico--I THINK I may have eradicated the parasites and will next need to address the candida MYSELF!

After draining $1200 out of me, he sent me an email saying he would no longer take my case because it was too complicated. So he referred me to a DO/MD. I THOUGHT Stengler was an MD as his staff assured me he WAS! But he is not. So he was not able to prescribe all the meds I need.

The main reason I would not recommend him is how he handled things--neglecting to request the right test and then blowing me off. I am not happy at all, because I did not have the money to throw away and we are dealing with my health here!!

I would encourage you to find another one. There are MANY in San Diego. I'd look for a DO because they are MDs vs. a Naturopath. Please let me know you got this!
