Thyroid/Adrenal shutdown was much easier to get a grip on. My Iridology mentor, Bob Stevens who by the way traveled with John Ray doing Body Electronics for over 10 years, turned me on the trick. Here it is in a nutshell.

The Adrenals, Thyroid and Para-Thyroid appear to works almost as a single gland. If one is out of whack, the entire body is screwed. (Er, screwed, that's a highly technical term. :-)

Bob passed along this simple advice.

Adrenals and digestion run on salt.

Thyroid runs on purple flavoids (pigments) as in Dulse.

Para-Thyorid runs on green pigments as in Algae/Kelp/Nori.

After years of struggling, a few weeks on Celtic Sea Salt, Dulse and Kelp and I felt human for the first time since I was a child.
