V.O. was never a problem with the FDA. The company had a problem with the FTC based on advertising that was done inappropriately by an independent member. It wasn't anything to do with the product itself, but the marketing of the product, based on claims. They went after RG, rather than the independent, which is pretty much standard stuff. This all took place before the double blind studies were done. All is fine now. The company has actually become something of a "poster child" for the FTC.

RGarden can now legally claim that V.O. raises the blood O2 level , according to the results of the study. Before the study, they could not.

The ingredients are salt, water and trace minerals. The process is not disclosed, but the end product could be compared to hydrogen peroxide, to some degree, with a major difference. Hydrogen peroxide is acidic , while V.O. is alkaline. V.O. will oxygenate, while H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) oxydizes and causes free radicals. Big difference !

The FDA, while being unsupportive of V.O. stimulated action from the FTC in the opinion of the company. They ended up shooting themselves in the foot, because the action led to the company doing the double blind studies, which is the last thing that the drug companies wanted. The studies show that not only does V.O. raise blood O2 levels, but as a medical first, it also raises the CO2 discharge. No other O2 therapy has accomplished this and that has the pharma companies hoppin to discredit the product as much as possible. They have nothing to compete with.

I've had several opinions about greying and thinning hair. Many of those opinions come back to mineral defiencies. I'm not a medical expert, but I'm aware of how important and universal minerals can be.

There is nothing harmfull in the product and its target market is based on users ingesting the product. The topical use was something of my own exploration. I should add that I use the product internally too! The product is also guaranteed and the guarantee is unconditional, so if people want to try it for their hair, no problem, I'd try it.
