you might be right and I could be wrong. :) I find it curious that theres so many people out there with nothing better to do than devote significant time to such a topic. Humanity faces many earth-based challenges ahead.

I'd like to start a foundation, dedicated to dredging the oceans to remove all the plastic waste that's been dumped at sea. We could ask for grants from various corporations and then hire out ships to go netting for that crap and then either bury or burn it off. The oceans need to be cleaned up, and such netting as I propose isn't high tech, so the cost of the ships & labor would be minimal.
