cshmere28: So you're completely cured of your abnormal odor? How long ago was your extraction? What did the extracted tooth look like? Was it extracted by the same dentist that said there wasn't a problem - if so, did he say anything after examining the extracted tooth? Are there any more teeth you suspect to be causing you problems and plan to extract?
