unknown allergens
If I were able to post that crying face right now, I would post it- because it's only been in the last couple of days that I've found out that alot of the things I've been taking that are "supposed" to be good herbs for this or for that..are not for those with an allergy to ragweed, because they are of the same family.
NOW I'm finding the warnings that specifically say that. I have also had a couple of different food sensitivity biofeedback types of tests done, and they have had the same exact things on them for what food sensitivities are my worst. Ragweed allergies are the most common allergy people have. It's pretty tough for me to avoid ragweed, when it's chest high for 1/4 of a mile every direction I look from my house. I didn't know these specific herbs were in that same family and should be avoided if you have ragweed allergies. Milk thistle, artichoke, goldenseal, echinachea, camomille, artemisia...the safflower oil I was using for liver flushes..
and specific foods that people would never think of:

I knew about gluten because of finding celiac in an endoscopy 3 years ago.
Continuing to bombard the body with unknown things that are allergens, not only causes problems with the immune system being on alert all the time, but I have no idea how long I had had celiac before it was discovered...and continuing to ingest allergen foods affects the bile ducts, liver, gallbladder too.
>>>>Food allergies or sensitivities can be a root cause of gallbladder attacks. Since the 1940s, James Breneman, M.D., the former chairman of the Food Allergy Committee of the American College of Allergists, reported that food allergies can initiate gallbladder attacks and gallbladder disease.
Breneman, who conducted this study, believes the ingestion of allergy-causing substances causes swelling of the bile ducts, resulting in the impairment of bile flow from the gallbladder>>>
An interesting note to add to that- my 78 year old father, had the adrenal saliva test done, and with it, the ND included checking for a couple of food allergies.
Gliadin/grains are a very high allergen for him--3x worse than mine was...and he also discovered he's allergic to eggs.
He's eaten the same way for 78 years, not knowing he's had these food allergies. It's definetly not easy for him to try to make changes in eliminating them from his diet now..
and he also has no gallbladder either..
But..how long has he also had these allergens that he hasn't known about them and kept ingesting them?
