It's helpful to know what the starting point is -- and it's worth remembering that it's not just males who have beards -- some women do too.

Laser works for some women, but as you say, not for all. But the first question with any drug is "What happens when you stop taking it? Does the growth come back?" And the second question is "What about the long-term side effects?"

It's good to recognise it and describe it for what it was. No point faffing around calling it something else when it's beard growth.

Again, what happens when she comes off the spiro and the bcp? And what about the side effects of the bcp?
I'm glad your daughter is pleased with the results, but there are still questions to face. And you say she still has what you describe as a peach fuzz -- which can actually be very obvious against the light and look like a golden beard.
What suits one person, of course, doesn't suit another. I didn't want to mess my hormones around unneccessarily and I shave my moustache and beard. And thankfully, I've been able to have children.
