Here is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard, but works!
My hubby and I were listening to the Anthony Robbins series and he talked about feeling down. So he suggested this exercise.
You stand up. Arms to the side.
Look up at the ceiling.
Smile big.
While looking up and smiling, pull your arms above your head and clap, returning to your sides. Continue the arm motion quickly over and over.
Well of course we dissolved in giggles.
But seriously, it makes sense.
Depressed people look down.
The act of a smile is a powerful physiological thing.
Flapping your arms makes you breathe deeply.
Damn that Anthony Robbins, that was a great exercise.
I suggest you don't do this in public.....unless you don't care looking like some crazy human trying to take off in flight......
