i'd always had thin light facial hair on my upper lip and longer sideburns. then during puberty, around 12/13 i got visible facial hair on my cheeks, and the hair on my chin appeared. my moustache hair got darker (i'm light skinned asian with dark black facial hair) so it was clearly more visible...and its been with me since.
