Sure it works, in that it burns off the hair, but the question is how strongly it comes back and whether it keeps on coming back repeatedly.

Laser works well with light skin and very dark hair that's not too coarse. It may in some circumstances destroy hair permanently. But hormonall-fuelled growth is very difficult to destroy if the hormones are still fuelling the growth. And you're up against the fact that what destroys hair is liable to damage skin.

When it comes to coarse, bristly facial hair approximating to male growth, most methods which may be permanent or very long term with lighter growth fail to deliver the goods or damage the skin in doing so.
