Superfood(s) question and learning opportunity

Uny, have you *ever* run across anything that states how many grams of protein are contained in Superfood? I see the 40% protein by volume statement often. I looked at some other people's Superfood supplement products, and for green ones they are stating 8-9 grams per serving. If the same is true for Schulze's recipe, then 4 TBS of Superfood yields 16-18 g protein and 6 TBS yields 24-27 g. :) I just want to "know."

I'm reading up on Superfoods now. Dr. Schulze was just brilliant to put all of these great superfoods into one recipe. Listen to what Renee Loux Underkoffler says in her excellent book on raw food, Living Cuisine: The Art and Spirit of Raw Foods:

Microalgae and Protein

Studies have shown that spirulina has three times more protein than beef and that it is four times more assimilable than beef products.

Microalgae contain the essence of protein. Relatively unmatched, algae is abundant in essential amino acids, the building blocks of protein, and abundant amounts of nucleic acid (RNA/DNA). Nucleic acid is a precious and unusual characteristic found in food. It is the map that plans the combinations of amino acids that build the many different proteins that make up the trillions of cells in our bodies. A food that supplies the map and the material to make protein is monumental [note from Wings- no wonder Schulze has the neurological patients load up on Superfood!]

In the modern age, pollutions, electricity, radiation, stress, and urban conditions have a negative impact on RNA/DNA and normal cellular regeneration [Wings again- hmmm, where have we heard this before?]. Damaged cells that regenerate unmonitored and uncontrollably are known as cancer. Micro-algae are a simple whole-foods "supplement" that support and nourish our bodies with profoundly simple nutrition with billions of years of DNA and RNA to support a future of health. (Underkoffler, Renee Loux. Living Cuisine: The Art and Spirit of Raw Foods, 2003. Avery: New York, p. 102)

Following this text is a thorough description of several super foods, including spirulina, chlorella, blue green algae, and others.

This has been a fascinating "textbook" for me as I study the Science behind the "orders" to eat a raw vegan diet on the Incurables Program. Over half of the book is devoted to culinary tools and skills in preparing a raw food cuisine, and there are over 300 gourmet recipes to try, including desserts like Chocolate Mouse Pie (every ingredient in it is IP approved!)

I continue to be amazed at the genius behind the Incurables Program. Indeed, everything DOES work together, and to leave parts of it out, may compromise the healing experience.
