what is going on? where to start? what to address? please help!!

Every 9-10 months or so I get this "condition" that comes. My scalp doesnt necessarily become more oily or dry but I start losing tons of hair, (mainly the temple area) a lot around the temple area so much so that it becomes very noticeable thin. There is a lot of excess hair shedding and I noticed that there is a whitish bulb type thing at the end of most of the strands. My scalp is itchy as well, and I keep wanting to scratch off the build-up type stuff on my scalp (like an oily type dandruff) but if or when i do oh boy here come a whole bunch of hair with it. I have been washing every other day. I tried natural shampoo, to baby shampoo, to Head and Shoulders for Seborrheic Dermatitis shampoo, nothing noticeable helped. I tried the olive oil left in over night and I lost well over 200 hairs for that. I then tried the jojoba oil left in and lost many many hairs as well. This has been going on for the last 7-8 years and I am so frustrated. When it finally goes away after about 3 months of this crazy hairloss I think it will never come back again but it rears its ugly head. This time I had gone well over a year without it and so I definitely thought it would never come again but then I went from Arizona which is where I live out here to Cape Cod and within the first week this condition came zooming in on me all over again. It has been raining a lot along with a lot of humidity. Thought maybe the weather caused this flair up? Also a lot lower temps here compared to Arizona. I am not so much bothered by the itchiness and some excess oil on scalp as I am with the hairloss. That is driving me insane and into a severe depression. In the past I have tried the ACV, but not really excessively, never tried internally but the few time I tried it externally, it seemed to worsen my scalp. The olive oil and jojoba oil FREAKED me out with the clumps of hair it left me with falling out, but again quite a bit around the temples. I can just gently run my fingers over the temple area and about 10-12 short little temple hairs come flying out and over and over. I am so scared and depressed. I read that it could be due to the liver being in desperate need of a cleanse? Anyone know about this or have experience with this? Does anyone think that what I have is indeed SD? Why all the hairloss? I am so depressed, I cant deal with this, please, please, please help, anyone.
