Hi Sandra .....congratulations on your quest for truth. I went through the same issues for my daughter. She had urinary tract problems and candida for a couple of years. It's interesting that you found probiotics to be a big help because this is also what we found. My daughter now uses a product called Lactobasillus Salivarius and another called Inner Garden Flora, which is a multi bleand of probiotics. The Salivarius is most interesting because it's proteolitic (acts upon protein) and as we all know, protein is very difficult to break down.
