Re: Friday's Natural Remedy - Athlete's Foot
Hi Luella, Hi all,
As I was typing the reply, I have hit something when almost done and the page disappeared on me. So. Here is a link to my Stinky Feet.

This has worked for me a long time, but working construction it became a difficult proposition.
I have used vinegar wraps for almost two weeks just now, and it did not quite work, albeit it brings fair relief.
I have been to ND 3 days ago for a whole slew of problemms collected over the years. He has recommended the following:
Get 3% 500ml Hydrogen Peroxide
Get ozonated olive oil
Before night time:
Fill a bucket 1/2 full with as hot water as you can stand, pour 1/4 of the peroxide into it and stick your feet in for 20 min.
Dry your feet, apply the ozonated olive oil, put socks over them and go to bed.
I must admit that he knew what he was talking about. Two treatments and blistering is just about gone and my feet feel swell.
Who ever was lazy to see my stinky feet, which include some preventive measures, please be aware of one substantial fact:
You may treat your feet till you go purple and it will keep coming back. It is imperative to disinfect all your footware at the time of the treatment, and make sure that you do not reuse already worn socks. I used to do it by stuffing all my shoes with paper towels, wetting the towels with rubbing alcohol and stuffing the lot into a garbage bag for an hour or so.
Ah, you would still be better of looking at the prevention at the link above.
With kind regards, Slavek.
