I used to trap gophers in farmer's fields, and brought the dead ones home for my outdoor cats to eat all the time :(
I'm not talking about catching a few gophers either.

If I had the tendency to freak out over this stuff...I could probably get myself pretty worried about what all I've been exposed to from being a farm/ranch "kid" most of my life.
