Re: Why protest? Why not join in?
It does not matter if russia or Iraq are worse to their people, we have no business being the world police.
The U.S told the Shaw of Iran that they had to be nice to their people, The shaw was forced to obey the U.S and quit his human rights violations or we would cut him off. So, where did that get us? The exact people that our "good hearts" saved, overthrew the Shaw for being a puppet of the U.S (he was), took U.S hostages and are responsible for more human rights violations than the Shaw ever dreamed of.
So then of course, we aided Iraq out during the Iraq/Iran war. You can see how thankful Saddam is. So then we help out Afganistan over those intrusive Russians. Because of that, The Taliban got put into power, Bin laden is a hero, Afganistan never said thanks, and they used 4 billion dollars of our own equipment against us.
Then George gives the Taliban 30 million (equal to 250billion U.s.dollars) to say that drugs are bad. The Teliban took our money, then when we ran them out, that's what they are using to live on. We would be far ahead today if we would quit telling other countrys that they must be like us. Democracy is not for everyone.
