Why protest? Why not join in?

Saddam Hussein is an evil man. He has committed genocide within his own borders. He attacked a small, comparatively defenseless nation for its oil. He is a sponsor of terrorism, plain & simple. Whether or not we go to war with Iraq, Terrorism on our shores will continue. Even small, anti-US terrorist factions have been emboldened by 9/11 to the point that they have begun conspiring against us (you and me; our families, friends, etc.).
Good thing many of these terrorists are getting caught. And if you’re gullible enough to believe their protestations and claims of innocence to the press as they’re being led off in handcuffs (and choose to ignore their threats of retaliation), then you are as good as being one of them.
These anti-US terrorists have one thing in mind: to overthrow the government of the United States of America by whatever means available to them except political (any political attempts at getting Americans to change to their way of thinking would fail like a Clinton 3rd run attempt). They would have us all bowing down to their false god, Allah, against our will, beating us if we failed to memorize their "scriptures".
Why not go to war with Saddam? In light of his acts of evil what alternatives do we have? Feed them rice (see related string)? Horse feathers! This is a different war with a different set of circumstances surrounding it. We’ll feed the innocent after Saddam is removed from power. Look how we did it with Afghanistan. Remember what the Taliban (my spellchecker’s first suggestion for that word was “Tailbone”! Ha-ha!!!) did as we were dropping yellow pouches of MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) for the hungry? They were killing them. Shooting them as they picked up the pouches to take to their families. Men, women & children met bullets instead of having their hunger taken care of (not to mention the landmines of the same color that killed many as well). These shooters worked for the system of government who professed to be their protectors! Saddam Hussein would do the same thing, too. But he, just to save bullets, would probably use chemical weapons against them…..AGAIN.
Are innocent people going to die in any war we have with Iraq? Yes. It's an inevitable reality. This is especially true in Iraq, where Saddam will force innocents into the field of battle just like he did 12 years ago in an attempt to use them as a shield. He’s a man who would hold his own infant in front of himself to take a bullet from an assassin.
Are innocent people going to die if we don’t go to war with Iraq? Yes. It's also inevitable. Saddam & the terrorists he supports will see to it just like they did on September 11th, 2001. Check your news headlines. Terrorists (and others suspected of having terrorist ties) are getting arrested every week. They won’t rest until the USA is no more or until every last one of them is dead. I’d prefer the latter. If you want to be with them, go now. You, too, can learn how to build a bomb, strap it to yourself & go blow up hundreds (thousands?) of civilians. But be warned; If you do, be ready to face the might of the United States military – the greatest, best-trained, most effective and successful fighting machine on the face of the planet.
I believe that every able-bodied man (and some women) should be prepared to fight - to the death - for this nation's sovereignty. And we will take our fighting to Saddam’s front doorstep just like we did Adolf Hitler’s.
