Re: i think i have ringworm but not sure...
Ya know... it should be your decision to stop your antifungals. Some of them have pretty nasty side effects. It's possible that you've got something systemic going on internally too. If that's the case, if you plan to discontinue the antifungal rx's, you need to replace it with something that you can take internally. Neem soap and the neem oils are non-toxic, but are for external uses only. The neem capsules are good for internal uses. I keep neem and reshi on hand for colds. Whenever we have a cold that just won't go away, we hit it hard with the neem and reshi (4 caps each every 4 hours) and within a few days, that cold is on it's way out.
Also antifungal are Coconut oil,
Lugol's iodine, both of which you take internally too. Swanson's vitamins (online) sells 2
oz of 2%
Lugols Iodine for $10. Go to the iodine/iodine supplement board on curezone for support on how to handle the detox symptoms.
http://www.breastcancerchoices.org
has a link on iodine, bromide detox symptoms and how to handle them. Also,
http://www.iodine4health.com
is full of good informtion too.
If your girlfriend has fibrocystic breasts or painful and heavy periods (symptoms of endometriosis and fibroids), she'll benefit from
Iodine supplemntation too.
One more thing, you might want to go on a course of milk thistle or milk thistle complex with artichoke and dandelion to help the liver detox the antifuntal drugs. When you go on the iodine, milk thistle and other liver supporting supplements will help your body flush out the halides (ie bromide and fluoride as well as mercury) easier and lessen the detox symptoms.
