One More Thing....

As you probably already know, I live in Jackson, Mississippi. In the last couple of years, we were able to acquire rights to build a huge Nissan plant here, which would bring a lot of much needed jobs to our state.

Well, last week one of the engineers from Japan came over to help with the plant. He had never been to the US. He had been here for two days when he was going to his hotel room and was robbed.

Now get this---He had never even seen a gun and he was shot before he realized what was happening. The poor guy didn't even speak English!!! Luckily, he is going to live.

My country??? I am so ashamed. I realize this type of thing can happen anywhere, but it seems to happen more often here. We have a lot of growing to do or a lot of changing we need to do.
