Re: An Interesting Way to Protest the War

Although I would prefer that Daffy Duck was President at this time,
I would like to present the following insights:

The Bush adminstration has had but one goal since January 20, 2000... A
strong determination not to be a one-term administration. Even
the Republican Party has expressed fear that this administration
will forsake the Republican platform in order to assure a re-election
in 2004. If the Bush administration is willing to put re-election
on the line, there must be a strong belief that the invasion of Iraq
(and sacrifice of Americas' finest) is just. The potential for
heavy losses (on both sides,) increased terrorist activity, the
over-throw of allied governments in the Middle East and a loss of our
European allies are all possibilities. This administration will pay
dearly if any of the preceding occurs. The Iraqi threat to America must
be truly horrendous to the extent GW would lay his future on the line.
I am not an analyst, but I do enjoy chess. One must be logical in
spite of their political philosophies.
