Hi, Amasi. Yes, I've started today and it's great to have the company.
I'm not expecting for my body to notice that I'm fastng until about Day 3 or 4. The first days of a fast are usually pretty mooth for me physically; my problems in the first days are always psychological, and have to do with making that shift to being an eating animal to a no-longer-eating animal. My mind can be very resistant. But not toay - partly because I have your company, and partly because I really need to do this fast.
If you have troubles with your first days, I will be happy to support you. I don't tend to lose energy until Day 3 or later, but it does vary from fast to fast. On a recent urine fast I felt weak on Day 2.
My urine generally does not have a taste until the fast really gets going, and then it gets a foul taste. It still is tasting good, because it's only Day One.
At present, I am drinking only my urine and Icelandic Glacial bottled water, but when I run out of that water (very difficult to find here) I will have to switch to distilled water.
I do not drink my night-time urine, but I may start to do so. It is by far one's most "healing" urine. But I enerally sleep very badly from Lyme Disease and have bladder inflammation from Babesia, so it plays havoc with any sleep I do get if I start drinking in the middle of the night. However, I am going to leave that up to my judgement as I go along. If I don't drink any urine voided from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m., it will robably not be very effective as a fast, so I'll have to start having a little.
I am not planning to do urine massages. For me, that is unpleasant and tiring. I may do it later on, but for me it's the least pleasant, most tedious and difficult part about urine fasting
I would like to even fast "to completion" - that is, until some major problems have been truly cured - but work obligations may interrupt my total fasting and I may have to add something like angstrom minerals or even seaweed water or algae, especially in later stages, in order to keep going as long as I would like to.
I am having great problems with adrenal and thyroid failure, and fasting MAY make these worse. However, it may also address these problems. I don't hope to kill Lyme Disease with only one fast, even if it is three months long!, but I do hope to kill off some other inections like HHV-6, the virus linked to MS, and candida, for instance. I'll be very disappointed if a long, sustained, total urine fast does not kill off my systemic candida.
I am not sure how much supplemental water I'll drink. Usually I just drink a little bit, whenever I am really thirsty. Sometimes I force myself to drink a liter or two. I think that that may dilute my urine in a way that makes taking it less effective.
What are your goals in fasting? Any particular physical or mental health or cosmetic problems you are hoping to cure or see definite improvement in?
