Just a comment on the OLD days.

Yes my mom dewormed us until I was 3-4. In the 50's.
Then REAL medicine came in and she quit --- not knowing.

She lived on a farm and her mom always used castor oil or something. I remember her talking about it.

Of course we moved to the city and so it did not seem so necessary...

I am sure she NEVER let us eat dirt. Plus we had no dogs...

NOW people live with their animals. My grandmother wouldn't have been caught dead with an animal in the house. She knew.

They also did not eat raw anything. they cooked it all knowing about worms because they probably saw them in fruit and everywhere. and in the animals.

Oh well.
