Pumpkin Seed Oil - phytosterols

This is very intriguing, my best guess at this point is that we already know E.revolutum creates the AD36 virus because it cannot use fatty acids itself. It needs ready made sterols to survive, so possibly the combo of sterols and resin in this cold pressed oil kill the critter.

This leaves one huge question about another group of critters that use sterols...L-form bacteria aka Rickettsia...
