Coral Calcium is NOT effective against cancer

Hello, everyone,

As an alternative health consultant, I have great concerns about the various health claims made about Coral Calcium, but my greatest concern regards its use for cancer.

Cancer victims are desperate for a cure, especially if they have been told that the medical system can do nothing for them. There ARE natural therapies for cancer that are effective, but Coral Calcium is NOT one of them.

The claims made by the promoters of Coral Calcium about cancer are not substantiated, in journal articles, case studies, or epidemiology. They do not do proper testing of people before their "therapy", and they do not do follow-up after "therapy", so there is no way of knowing what cured what.

The cancer rate of people on Okinawa is not lower because they eat coral calcium, but likely because they eat kombu, a seaweed that has documented anti-cancer effects.

Note that these Japanese researchers, even though they work for a company, are *proposing* a research project to make the *determination* whether the seaweed extract is effective. This is the first principle of any good scientist.

Coral Calcium, in my not-so-humble opinion, is the largest health scam to be perpetrated on the public in many years. Check with the foremost naturopath in the US, Dr. Michael Murray, and what he says about Coral Calcium:
