Prometrium 200mg everyday, 14 days a month

Hi-

I just received a prescription for Prometrium, to help with my heavy and off-cycle bleeding. I'm curious to know if anyone has any experience with this (good or bad.) For what it's worth, I am not on any other HRT at this time. I have a long history of dysmennorhea, endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, you name it. I am 40 years old and am giving serious thought to ditching my uterus just so I can be blood-free sometime before the end of my life.
Appreciate any input.
