I'm surprised at the response for poor absorption of coconut oil. I know it absorbs very well into the skin. I occasionally use it for underarm deodorant. I have also used it as a facial moisturizer. I can't tell that I have anything on.

Coconut oil is an antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antiviral. I try to take 2 tablespoons a day for help with clearing fungus. If hemorrhoids are due to parasites, this could be the reason for success. Too bad that it has not worked for me. I must be a hard case. Mine are internal.
