Re: Using salt in enemas

Hi Christi, in my opinion you don't need to use salt with a coffee enema because you want the solution to be absorbed through the walls of your colon.

However, if you take a cleansing enema first prior to the coffee enema, then I suggest you consider adding one teaspoon of Sea Salt for each pint of water you use. The cleansing enema empties the lower bowel of waste and enhances the ability of the coffee enema to be absorbed by the body.
