How funny you should ask, I just tried it yesterday! I have a bunch of cocoa because I used to use it to make desserts, but now am not eating it anymore, and since organic coffee is so expensive to buy if doing many enemas, I thought I'd try the cocoa.
I did not try it by itself yet, but mixed it with a weak solution of coffee, and added a dash of caffeine powder to make up for the missing caffiene. (caffein powder is from grinding up no-doz tablets from the drugsstore, using a coffee grinder to grind them up)
Results were the same as what I would have gotten with a strong solution of coffee, so I think (based on only one trial, mind you) that the cocoa "made up" for the missing extra amount of coffee.
Caveats:
cocoa is hard to find organic, and they say not to use non-organic stuff for enemas.
A big part of the success is the effect of the caffeine on the liver; cocoa has only a little caffiene, so you may want to add caffeine powder like I did.
