The coffee enema, if taken correctly, will help clean your liver and gallbladder besides the large intestines. I have written a message to post in my Blog on coffee enemas but have not posted it. I am reproducing it here for you.
"Coffee enemas
Coffee enemas may be taken for a number of reasons. I take coffee enemas to clean my liver. It is a small retention enema so it is necessary to retain this enema for a period of 20 minutes or so.
How well you can retain an enema depends on many factors. To name a few: how cleans your colon is at the time, the temperature of the solution, how relaxed you are, the strength of the solution, etc.
I find that taking a 2-cup coffee enema gives me the most consistent result. Also the coffee you use is very critical to the success and most certainly the preparation is vital to get the full effects of a coffee enema.
I always take at least 2 soapsuds cleansing enemas of 2 quarts each prior to taking a coffee enema. I use SA Wilsons special blend of coffee, 3 tablespoons to make 1 quart of solution. I retain the enema for 20 minutes. The gurgling is not always apparent or may not even happen.
I have found that it takes me a minimum of 3 consecutive days of coffee enemas to get to hear or feel the gurgling. I feel this gurgling most often towards the end of my 5-day juice fast. By the way a 5-day fast with daily coffee enemas is very rough on your body especially on your adrenal glands.
When I feel toxic, I take a series soapsuds enema of 4 quarts then take a 4 cup coffee retention enema. I try to retain it for the same period. This usually clears my intestines quite well and also seems to relieve my liver of stress. I find it to be quite effective in giving relief from overeating or indulging in other not too healthy activities.
It is also a good idea to take a saline solution cleansing enema after the coffee enema to clear out any left over coffee and debris in your intestines.
You get the many benefits of the coffee enema even if you don't hear or feel the gurgling." (end of Blog)
I would suggest a weekly session of cleansing enemas followed by a coffee enema and ending with a saline solution enema. I have done this a several year until my bowels were fairly normalized. Like you I was constipated for years. Please read my Blog under “M” titled “My challenge by Propaul”. I feel that eating the right food is essential to one health. Also once in a while think about going on a short fast. I do a weekly 1 day juice fast with the cleansing and coffee enemas. Has worked well for me.
I don’t go for colonics while on my weekly 1 day fast but once a month I do go on a 3 day juice fast with P & B bowel cleanse.
There are many different protocols for bowel cleanse and liver flush so you need to find what works for you. Keep on cleansing and you will find a great benefit after a while.
