Re: Liver Flush and Joy
thanks iFlush. I am sorry for your loss as well.
I have been doing cleanses for the last 10 years, the first one in India not long after the death of my partner. It was extremely eye opening and healing. I have 'fallen off the wagon' many times since then and only in the last year have I really begun to understand how important it is to eat healthy and cleanse regularly, for both my physical and
emotional/spiritual health. I tend to seek comfort in food when I am down, hence the vicious cycle. I was at an all time low this past year, eating poorly, smoking cigarettes as well, when I decided to do a 30 MC. I quit the cigarettes, started to be very conscious of my eating choices afterwards, and began to feel better and better. I began to truly understand the words 'you are what you eat' and to see that how I feel IS in my control and I can do something about it by changing my diet and cleansing my body. It's not always easy but I just keep reminding myself of the interconnectedness of all things and am patient and loving with myself, even when I fall.
I remind myself everyday how lucky I am to be alive (and feel alive!) and try to enjoy each and every moment.
