In my opinion, yes. When I first started drinking kefir, even just organic kefir from the supermarket, it greatly helped my health improve. The only problem was that the benefits were only temporary for me, because as others have pointed out, the probiotics don't necessarily colonize the colon. I still drink kefir and eat yogurt and for me these are generally very beneficial.

Sure it would be great to make your own and with raw milk would be even better, but you should still feel some benefit.
