The doctor doesn't know. I haven't seen her again since the flushing. I'm sure she would be highly skeptical.
I'm still in a low level of pain, which concerns me mildly about the possibility of infection. I know this doctor would tell me I'm dancing with danger by not having my gallbladder removed. I don't want to give it up until I'm convinced there are no other options.
Here's what flushing has accomplished for me: I'm out of crisis mode and haven't had an attack in four months. That is quite an accomplishment! Flushing has not yet relieved all pain or discomfort, and I'm eager to get that last nagging pain gone.
