Re: U R Welcome, sugar, pizza etc

I know how addictive pizzas are. I used to order one super supreme a day with chicken wings, garlic bread and diet coke (I thought I was being good when I ordered diet coke).

Now I can honestly enjoy a plate full of steamed or sauted vegetables more than the pizza, nor do you feel like falling asleep after eating. If I can do that others can too, if they want to.

I know Sugar is a hard one, it's very addictive, I had a friend who used to eat Sugar lumps at work and everything in her shopping basket was always stacked with things containing sugar. In the end she became really ill and I looked into it for her a few years ago, This is just one article http://naturalsuperfoodsblog.com/dietary-nutrition/its-pure-white-addictive-a...
- there are loads out there, Google Sugar addiction or something. I haven't looked into sugar much lately because I was more into meat and dairy and junk food, I was good with sugar. Previously I got on OK with things like the Atkins diet.

My friend broke her addiction with fruit, bananas. She was so bad that she would get really ratty if she didn't have her sugar fix, but bananas seem to work for her. But I think fasting is a better way, which of course is what you are doing.

When you break it, think of the foods you will want to break it with. Watermelon is a common food for fast breakig, that's nice and sweet.
