Day 5 - Morning, seem to have lost physical hunger

Today is the morning of Day 5! Wow, this is the farthest I have ever fasted. I noticed yesterday though that in the morning I was very tired (sparkling mineral water was the only thing that perked me up), but I also noticed that my shin splints seemed to feel better (which is my primary reason for fasting). I am hoping that with another week of fasting at least, I can permanently heal my shin splints. We shall see-I'm not sure how long healing will take?

As for other news, when I woke up this morning I felt the room kind of spin because I got up too fast, but it passed after about 20 seconds. Also, I was able to avoid coffee yesterday by substituting with mineral water, so now I know that I don't need coffee, which is great because I am pretty sure it was keeping me hungry.

All day yesterday (day 4) I was in a pretty bad mood until I had the sparkling mineral water. I guess I wasn't physiologically hungry after early morning, but I had these TERRIBLE CRAVINGS for all sorts of sweet foods, like cookies with icing and domino's Cinnamon stix! (with an icing cup!) I even went to dominos.com and "created my on pizza" lol with as many meat toppings as I could fnd. And then I sadly got rid of it and closed the window...

So I know I have a ways to go: I still have bad food cravings, tounge is still coated and shin splints still have a little twinge in my left leg. But all of this is getting better. Also, I noticed my skin is clearing up - I'm not sure if that is a result of fasting or stopping the coffee, or both!

All of my respect, love and best wishes to everyone fasting!
