Hubbard, of Dianetics and Scientology fame, did research back in the 50's with plants. Good music, bad music. Love, hate. Exposing the plants to various emotions and sounds.
Amazing results. The plants hearing the good music grew around the speakers. the plants hearing the bad music grew away from the speakers.

The plants who were hated withered and died, the plants that were loved thrived.

Great chefs are great because that love "essense" goes into the food.

It makes a big difference what's going on at the dinner table besides dinner.
