I think you are right that the physical is the basis of the mental/spiritual. My husband needs convincing; maybe I can get him to read your writings. The gut and its upper manifestation, the brain, are physical entities and need to be clean and well nourished. This is not rocket science.

Re the queen. She had a homeopathic doctor for years, as far as what I have read. Some years ago it was Dr. Marjorie Blackie (if I recall the name correctly!)

I tend to think that it is not sophisticated or complex "natural" medicine that is going to "save" anybody, but rather the things that we do for yourselves, and which may require some effort on our part (like cleanses) rather than just paying an arm and a leg for some exotic herbs, etc. Of course, the farther gone you are, the more you may have to rely on them to "save" yourself.

The herbs that we wild-gather ourselves, or at least grow, will be more meaningful for our bodies than something from a capsule put together 3,000 miles away.
