I guess not everything Dr. Sch does is consistent and not everything can be explained by science... Just what feels right...
I have another confession to make... I never simmer the broth for 2hrs... I just sim it for 20mins and put it thru the juicer! Okay... I cheat quite a bit... IP is keeping me swamped! Nevertheless, I always find juice moves thru me better than broth. Esp. as the weather warms up and my circulation improved, I no longer long for hot food like I used to.... I think the broth is good for those cold winter months as well as ppl not used to juice fasting. For me, I'm on juice fasting Day 36. The body has changed a LOT! Cooked food just doesn't move as well as raw! So, I guess I'll just stick with juice even on the 5-day cleanses... :) -tie
