Testin for Blastocystis

Do you think it is necessary to test for blasto even though I know that I have it. I tested positive after taking Flagyl for blasto. I still have symptoms even though I have had about 5 negative tests in the last 3 years. I also had a roundworm 7 years ago but that didn't show up in any tests either. The labs here use a fixative and stain but aren't that good at detecting much. But who is to say that Genova is much better if the blasto is hiding in my intestines?

My symptoms subside when I take anti- parasite herbs and if I take a reasonable dose of herbs or probiotics I get a LOT of die-off so I do have something for sure. My naturopath is getting to think I don't have parasites anymore but she isn't the one with the symptoms! I think she is in too much of the standard medical thinking that if it doesn't show up on a test it isn't there....
