I think your post is very sad. When I was single and in college, I, too, came across the guys who would ask me out and at the end of the date, want to go to bed with me. When I would say "no", they would say "See you around". Like you, I made sure not to send out any signals that said I would sleep with them. Yet, I never gave up looking for love. Yes, it's discouraging when you come across too many guys like that but I say, don't give up! My husband and I have been married 31 years now. Imagine if I had given up in disgust after meeting jerks, I would never have met my husband.

I'm really sorry you feel that way but I also feel that you don't want to feel the way you do. After all, you did post here which tells me that you want better in your life. However, if you go through life closed off from others, you won't find love. Instead, you'll be giving off a vibe that says "don't come near me".

If you've been hurt recently, take the time to heal and be introspective. After you're over the hurt, then you can decide---without clouded judgement---if you want to try again.
