Re: The truth about foods (read medical studies in context)

Regarding raw dairy. Just because someone isn't getting better (from severe illness) eating raw dairy doesn't mean it's dangerous. Even if your friend didn't get better with raw dairy, it's not like they got disease X and died.

My experience with raw dairy is this. Start slowly and gradually build up. Some people do experience detox reactions with it, but it's temporary. It can be long or short. Raw milk/butter/cream can taste so good to your body, you WILL want to drink tonnes, but don't do it. This also includes children. Start with 1/2 glass a day and work up. Don't drink 2-3 litres the first time you have it. ;)

So far, I find people with heart/stroke/blood pressure/blood clot problems feel the detox reaction more than others. This is because it helps the most with these problems.

I hope you don't feel offended, but I think there is a good chance that Aajonus is correct in your friend's case, maybe he/she isn't finished detoxing. He has decades of experience with thousands of people, I'm sure he's seen a lot. In his book, he says that not everyone can have raw milk but it's a very small minority, so I'm sure he would have identified if your friend was someone would couldn't take it. The fact that they could take it and got a detox reaction says that he is probably correct and your friend is probably very sick. Anyway, when I see him in person this summer I'll ask him face to face about this. Does your friend have a name?

Also, some people want to detox slower, even if that means being sicker longer. It's a free country, it's your body, so you should do what you feel it right.

I have a warning though. This may or may not apply. When fasting, when someone starts detoxing and gets a detox reaction, one of the worst things to do is to stop the fast. If you do that, the detox reaction can become more or less permanent (at least until subsequent fasts). It represents an incomplete healing. I'm not sure if this applies to food healing, but it might.

Maybe when your friend has detoxed more they can try raw dairy again, slowly. In the meantime, nothing is wrong with raw coconut cream.
