Re: ArrrrGGGGHHH! Re: Making Tinctures- Weight or volume?
I posted that to show that Dr. Christopher formulated by parts/volume, not by weight (like his son claims sometimes, or so I've heard).
Dr. Christopher's company is now owned by his children. They no longer use strictly organic herbs, and they have altered his original formulas (some substantially, by leaving out comfrey and substituting it with something FAR less effective).
It's a matter of record that the Powers That Be believe comfrey is a hepatoxin (when Dr. Christopher knew it wasn't). Rather than fight for the truth, his children changed every formula that had comfrey in it (at least those used internally). I have an excerpt from the FDA that ADMITS there is no known correlation between Comfrey and liver damage...but that didn't stop them from taking many herbal companies to court - and that didn't stop Dr. Christopher's children from selling out their father's life & legacy.
If you compare the original "School of Natural Healing" book, to the one published later, you will find substantial "edits" that are left to read as Dr. Christopher's words, but he never wrote or said them.
I don't take anyone truly 'seeking knowledge & truth' the wrong way...I applaud skepticism, critical thinking and good questions!!
Blessings -
