I too, have a 'tilted' uterus. Mirena #1 went in okay. Very painful so when it was time for #2 to go in I took pain killers so this wouldn't be so bad this time and it took 4 tries for my OB to insert and I thought I was gonna die. I am the biggest WUSS when it comes to pain. I was about to tell her to forget it when she finally got it inserted. (I think my body was trying to tell me something)
She had asked me if she was the one who inserted the first time and did it go in easier than this and I told her yes.
Did she not read my records? Duh. At that time, I felt like a number, not a patient. Had a lot of cramping after but that eased after a few days.
