Re: agree
Lauray was never blocked, and always welcome to post.
And if someone who does understand that message can explain it, I'd give advice (if it's asking for advice - I assumed it was since this is a support forum and it doesn't seem to be giving advice - although I haven't read it!).
But general advice for anyone is that you don't fast to stop compulsive overeating, as is implied by the title, which I DO understand. Maverick494 did some excellent posts recently on why that doesn't work, and it is the advice of all people that deal with eating disorders such as binging, and anorexia, which is mentioned in the post.
Maverick494 is an example of someone who DID get though this, and she has tried fasting, and I always find her messages clear, concise and easy to read. Here are a few that lauray might like to read:

I don't know what an eating disorder is like, though I have comfort eaten, but if I ever got to that position I would be so glad of Maverick494's advice because I trust her and I know she has succeeded herself. lauray has been coming here for two years posting the same stuff, and it hasn't worked, exactly as Maverick494 predicts. It's a never ending loop. Courage issues aside, that's why she's back, because the underlying problem is still there.
